FAQs

1.  What will service be like?

2. How early should I get there?

3. What should I wear?

4. What about my kids?

The service experience at Southside includes music and a message. The music is led by our worship team and a live band. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by Pastor Austin. His messages are 100% biblically based. Easter Sunday will include a special performance from our Warriors of Praise kids ensemble.

The service begins at 11:00. Plan on arriving at least 20 minutes before the service starts. This will give you time to park and check your kids into the nursery and children's church if needed. You’ll want to make sure you get into the worship center before the music starts. We have greeters to welcome you and help you along the way.

We dress very casually and want you to wear what is comfortable to you. No tie is needed.

We love kids! Our kids ministry (Warrior Kids) is designed for children from Pre-K through fifth grade. Easter Sunday your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, worship and games designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. As soon as you enter the church you can check your child in for Children's Church and if you have a child birth - 3 yrs old they are welcome to stay with our leaders in the nursery. They can also be checked in as soon as you arrive for service.

By the way, your child’s safety is a big priority to us. When you check in your child, you receive a name tag for your child and a parent pick-up tag for you. These tags have matching identification codes. Also, all of our volunteer team members have current background checks on file. We love getting to pour into the next generation every week!
