Update Wednesday 3:00pm

Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103: 1-5

We received an unexpected phone call from Dr. Vender
today. He was calling to go over Austin's pathology report. Thank you all for praying so diligently. The pathology report was clear, there were no cancer cells found. The part of the tumor that could not be removed was benign as well. We love you all!!

Update Wednesday 10:30AM

With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26

I know you all are missing Austin and are anxious to see him. This is a very long process. I know with the Lord's mercy and your continued prayers we will make it to the other side. Austin does not feel well, and he is very weak. The doctor prepared us for this stage. Austin has his 2 week appointment scheduled for October 5th. I am believing and in agreement with each of you we will receive uplifting results. Until then I ask that you continue to pray for Austin as he recovers. We are thankful to serve with each of you. Thank you for respecting the doctor's orders about limiting visitors.

Love, Jenn

Update Sunday 1:45 PM

Praise the LORD in song, for He has done excellent things; Let this be known throughout the earth. Isaiah 12:5

I rejoice with each of you that we are in the process of being discharged from the hospital. Dr. Vender feels that Austin is ready to come home with strict instructions. He has continued to express his concern of infection and over stimulation. With that being said, we are asking that all of you wait to visit when Austin is able. I will continue to update you all periodically. Dr. Vender was very positive about the results of the surgery and will see Austin again in 2 weeks. We are so thankful for each of you and ask that you continue to pray for Austin as he recovers. Remember our preacher believes that "GREATER THINGS ARE YET TO COME!!" We love you!!

Update Sunday 9:50 AM

Psalm 30:1-5

Good Morning!! Austin is watching Dr. Charles Stanley preach this morning. Austin is getting his appetite back, and therefore gaining strength. We walked down the hall last night! Dr. Vender wants him up walking as much as he can. Please continue to pray for strength. We know so many people are praying, and we will forever be grateful. Hope to be home soon. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Austin and I both hope you all have a great day worshiping the Lord and Savior!!

We love you all!!

Update Saturday 11:25 AM

Austin had a restful night. Dr. Vender came in this morning. He encouraged Austin to get up and walk today. He is very pleased with how well Austin is responding to the surgery. I couldn't help but think of Austin's life verse this morning.

2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Through this journey Austin is fighting. He is going to get to the other side, but through all of this from learning of the tumor until now he has kept the faith.

We love y'all!!

Update Friday 9:10 PM

Isaiah 53:5

Overall today has been a really uplifting day. The speech, occupational, and physical therapists all came to assess Austin. Each one of them were very positive and concluded he would not need their services. We give God the glory for what he is doing. Dr. Vender just came in and was very positive about the MRI. Although they were not able to remove all of the tumor, what was left does not pose great concern. He compared the pre and post MRIs and said the post looked much better. We are in agreement with all of you that this journey is going to be a process that not only glorifies our Lord and Savior, but one that increases the Kingdom!! We love and miss all of you. I want to challenge each of you to do what my favorite preacher loves to say "Love God and Love People!"

Update Friday 1:22 PM

Joy Comes with the Morning   ---   Psalm 30

We have received good news this morning. The CT scan looks great. Dr. Vender was very pleased with the results. We are awaiting the results of the MRI that was completed this morning. The physical therapist came and had Austin up and walking. Praise the Lord he is not in any pain. Please continue to pray specifically for the results of the MRI and pathologyreport. We know the Lord has already gone before Austin, and we believe there are "Greater things to come." May the Lord bless each one of you.

Love you,

Wow!! What an amazing journey we have embarked upon. Our God is so faithful. He is seeing Austin through to the other side. God hears the cry of his people, and because of all of your prayers he has answered. I am with Austin now in ICU. He has not stopped quoting scripture to the doctors, nurses, and anyone else the Lord allows to cross his path. We are claiming this miracle, and we know throughthe prayers and support from all of you Austin will have a speedy recovery. I cannot express the amount of gratitude we have for you all!! Greater things are yet to come!! God Bless,

Update Thursday 3:17 PM

Thank you all for the prayers!! We have just spoken with the Doctor, and he was very satisfied with the surgery. Austin is currently on his way to ICU. We haven't been able to see him yet. As soon as we do, we will update all of you. This journey is one that God will receive all of the glory for. We ask you to continue to pray for strength as Austin recovers. These two girls were so happy to meet Dr. Vendor as he shared the good news.

I am asking all of you to pray over the next few hours. We are claiming a miracle and know our God is able. We love each and every one of you. In the famous words of the best preacher I have ever known "Greater Things are Yet to Come"

Letter from Jennifer

Dear Church Family,

We are so grateful for you! We are in awe of all of your love and support. With your prayers we have made it this far. What we need from everyone now is prayer, especially over the next few days. Austin's recovery is going to be a process. Doctors have requested that visitors be limited to immediate family to minimize risk of infection and over stimulation. After surgery Austin will be admitted to ICU, and the length of his stay in ICU will be determined by the team of doctors after surgery.

I am thankful for Jim and Scott's offer to communicate updates with you. I will communicate directly with Jim and Scott and update them when I am able. They will share updates with you. Thank you for understanding that our primary focus is helping Austin get well.

We can't thank you enough for all you have done.
