The F.A.I.T.H. Ministry exists to encourage people to reach out to lost souls with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Participants will be equipped to make home visits and identify ministry needs and then lead their Sunday School class to meet those needs.

Most Christians who do not witness intentionally to their family, friends, and acquaintances fail to do so because they do not know for sure what to share or at least how to share. In twelve weeks Brother Austin personally trains people through F.A.I.T.H. how to share their faith.

We believe that F.A.I.T.H. helps all believers grow in grace and help our Sunday School Classes ignite the fire of the gospel in the lives of their classmates.

We invite you to take advantage of this exciting training opportunity by allowing Pastor Austin and Phil George to train you how to share your FAITH. Contact Phil to learn how you can get involved in F.A.I.T.H.

Come learn how to share you faith boldly using God’s word and win souls for the kingdom of heaven. The F.A.I.T.H. ministry is not about increasing the membership at Southside, but rather ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you have questions about the FAITH ministry or if you have someone you would like for the FAITH team to visit you can email their information to info@southsidelakeland.org

PRESENTATION

F is forgiveness Everyone has sinned and needs God’s forgiveness. “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 God’s forgiveness is in Jesus only. “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7

A is for available God’s forgiveness is available for all. “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever should believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 God’s forgiveness is available but not automatic. “Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 7:21

I is for impossible According to the bible it is impossible to get to heaven on our own. “By grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift-not from works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 So how can a sinful person have eternal life and enter heaven?

T is for turn If you were going down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would he or she be asking you to do? (Change direction) Turn means repent Turn away from sin and self “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3 Turn to Jesus alone as your savior and Lord. “I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 Here is the greatest news of all. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses resulting in salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 What happens if a person is willing to repent of their sins and confess Christ?

H is for Heaven Heaven is a place where we will live with God forever. “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.” John 14:3 Eternal life begins now with Jesus. “I come that they may have life and they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 H can also stand for how. How can a person have God’s forgiveness, eternal life, forgiveness, and heaven? By trusting in Jesus as your savior and Lord.

INQUIRE Understanding what we have shared, would you like to receive this forgiveness by trusting in Christ as your personal Savior and Lord?

INSURE Use a step of faith to insure decision ____ personal acceptance ____ Sunday School Enrollment
